JOHNSTON - Jacob Carter Huiet, 90, died Saturday.
Born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late Joseph E. and Elizabeth Bradley Huiet. He was a retired farmer and a member of Harmony United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, William C. Huiet of Bamberg; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret H. Campbell of Laurens and Mrs. Helen H. England of Spartanburg; three sisters, Mrs. Estelle Clark of Hamilton, Ohio, Mrs. Tillie Estes of Riverdale, Ga. and Mrs. Ela Godwin of Bainbridge, Ga.; two brothers, Ben T., Coleman B. and Joe E. Huiet of Atlanta; grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
Services were at 3 p.m. today at Clark-Bland Funeral Home. Burial was in Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family asks that memorials be made to Harmony United Methodist Church.
