Mrs. Anna M. Arthur, widow of the late Isiah G. Arthur died this morning at a local hospital after an illness of about six weeks.
Born in Pennsylvania, Dec. 29, 1874, she married I. G. Arthur in Iowa, Sept. 19, 1895. They came to Cascade from Aberdeen, S. D., in 1906 and the family moved to Great Falls three years later. Arthur died in March, 1947.
Three children, Forrest U. Arthur, manager of Strain Bros. store; Dr. L. Milton Arthur and Mrs. J. J. Allin, all of Great Falls, survive.
Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Dan Jeppeson, Milford, Ia., two brothers, Alva Ulrich, Kalispell, and Harry Ulrich, Houston, Tex.; a granddaughter, Carol Jean Arthur, Great Fall, and several nieces and nephews including Mrs. A. T. Westdal and Mrs. M. H. Casey, Great Falls. A son, Vincent, died several years ago.
