Monica L. Coker of Hartly died Monday June 4, 2012 at Capitol Nursing Home, following a long illness. She was 61.
Ms. Coker was born May 16, 1951 in Cheswold, Delaware to the late John Coker and Lillian Durham Coker.
She enjoyed listening to country music, watching soap operas and watching Jeff Gordon, but she especially loved being with family and friends at family picnics.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Benjamin, Donald and Nelson Coker.
She is survived by her soul mate, Jan Krzesniak of Hartly; brothers, Ed Coker and his wife Rachel of Dover, John Coker and his companion Helen Carpenter of Felton, Steve Coker of Cheswold and Ricky Coker and his wife Cindy of Hartly; sisters, Eleanor McKinney of Dover, Barbara Velez and her husband Michael of Harrington, JoAnn Moore of Gatesville, Tx; sister in law, Sandra Coker of Dover.
Memorial services will be held 12pm Friday, June 8, 2012 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in the Immanuel United Methodist Cemetery.
