Eleanor G. McKinney of Smyrna passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at home. She was 82.
Mrs. McKinney was born April 21, 1934 in Cheswold, Delaware to the late John Coker and Lillian Durham Coker.
She was a homemaker and loved reading Amish books, and doing word puzzles.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph “Vernon” McKinney, 2009.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin Coker (Joanne) and Gary Coker, Sr. (Wanda) all of Smyrna; siblings, Eddie Coker (Lorraine) of Dover, Steve Coker of Cheswold, Jackie Coker (Helen) of Canterbury, Ricky Coker (Candy) of Hartly, Barbara Velez (Mike) of Harrington, JoAnn Moore of Gatesville, TX and sister in law Sandra Coker of Dover and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 11 am, Friday, November 4, 2016 at Immanuel Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, Cheswold.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
