Aggie Jane Roberts, 83, Faubush, died Tuesday at her residence after an illness of about two years.

She was born in Pulaski County on January 6, 1889, the daughter of James Roland and Frances Johnson VanHoosier, both deceased.

She married the late Wesley Roberts in Somerset on June 14, 1917.

Survivors include one son, Arlus Roberts of Faubush; one daughter, Beulah Brock of Faubush; one stepson, Chester Roberts of Connersville, Ind.; three stepdaughters, Versie Maupin of Detroit, Mich., Lutta Rice of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Aggie Kissee of Ingle; three brothers, Enoch of Ohio, Elizah of Faubush, and Christman of Cincinnati; and two sisters, Bell Stevens of Somerset and Martha Wilson of Faubush.

She lived here all of her life, was a housewife, and a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Faubush at 2 p.m. today with Rev. J.R. Bullock and Rev. Lloyd Williamson officiating.

Burial was in the Norfleet Cemetery.

Pulaski Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
