Harrison Green VanHoosier, 62, of Nancy, died Monday after an illness of three weeks.

The son of James Rolland and Charlotte Johnson VanHoosier, he was born March 25, 1891 at Faubush. He was married to Jeanette Johnson July 3, 1929 at Somerset.

Mr. VanHoosier had lived in the county all his life. He was a farmer and a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, William Rolland VanHoosier, Oneida, South Dakota; Haskel VanHoosier, Nancy; one daughter, Roaslie VaHoosier, Nancy; the following brothers and sisters, Enoch VanHoosier, Cincinnati; Aggie Roberts, Faubush; Bell Stevens, Somerset; Elijah VanHoosier, Faubush; Isaac VanHoosier, Somerset; Mary Morgan, Shelbyville, Indiana; Martha Wilson, Faubush; and Chrisman VanHoosier, Cincinnati.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Burnetta Baptist Church with the Rev. Lloyd Williamson officiating. Burial was in the Cooks Chapel Cemetery.

Denney-Murrell-Correll Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
