Passed away peacefully May 15, 2012 in Issaquah. He was born August 4, 1928 in Cleveland, OH and served in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked at Boeing most of his professional life. He was an avid sailor and enthusiastic docent at the Museum of Flight. Joe is survived by his wife Lucy and children, Linda, Ken, Bill and Anne, as well as six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Memorial service 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Issaquah. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Museum of Flight or Evergreen Hospice.
