Mrs. Boynton was born at Black Brook, New York September 21, 1887, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Chabbott, and had spent most of her life at Jay. About eighteen years prior she was united in marriage to Sheldon Boynton, who survived, together with four children, Mildred, Edward, Sheldon and Emma Marie; four sisters, Mrs. Charles Bombard of Burlington, Vermont, Miss Anne Chabbott, Albany, Mrs. Frank X. Pattno and Mrs. James Fitzsimmons, Au Sable Forks, and two brothers, Alec and Edward Chabbott of Jay.
Pallbearers were Dan Gallagher, New York; Clarence Chabbott, Harland Boynton, Jay; Charles Boynton, Saranac Lake; Hollis Boynton and James Fitzsimmons, Au Sable Forks. Burial was in Holy Name Cemetery, Au Sable Forks.
