Mrs. Alma Fitzsimmons, of Au Sable Forks, New York, died in the Keene Valley Hospital, in Keene Valley, New York, Tuesday morning, March 9, 1965, after a short illness. She was 85.
She was born June 12, 1879 in Peasleeville, New York, the daughter of George Chabbott and Mary Patno Chabbott.
Surviving were two sons, Floyd Fitzsimmons of Marblehead, Massachusetts, and James Fitzsimmons of Au Sable Forks. Also two daughters, Mrs. Doris Keane of Lake Placid, New York, and Mrs. Burleigh Todd of Plattsburgh, New York.
Also surviving are one brother, Ed Chabbott of Jay, New York, one sister, Mrs. Everette Lowman of Delmar, New York, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Friday, March 11, 1965, at 10 a.m. at the Holy Name Church in Au Sable Forks. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
