Mrs. Emeline Smith, one of the oldest women of the county died at the home of her son-in-law, Will Lanham, Monday morning of old age, the deceased having been eighty years of age. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. R.L. Purdom and the remains
were interred at Hilton's graveyard. Mrs. Smith leaves a husband, Mr. Steve Smith and several children.
