MRS. LANHAM
Mrs. Sarah Smith Lanham, age 65, widow of the late W.J. Lanham, died at 9:30 o'clock Sunday morning, February 21, 1937, at her home near Thompsonville, this county, her death following an illness of less than one week of pneumonia. Surviving Mrs. Lanham are two children, Arthur Lanham and Mrs. Alonzo Lay, both of this county. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. J.N. Binford, pastor of the Springfield Baptist Church, were held at the Thompsonville Baptist Church, of which she was a devout member, interment following in Bethlehem Cemetery.
