Mr. Patterson was born Dec. 16, 1898, in Oshippun, Dodge county, son of the late Edwin M. and Hattie Patterson. His marriage to Eva Roudebush took place Aug. 3, 1923, in Richland county. The family had resided the last 32 years at Lake Delton.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Hagan, Schenctady, N.Y., and Mrs. Jack Greenwood, Wisconsin Dells; three sons, Richard A. Patterson, Sauk City, Charles A. Patterson, Wisconsin Rapids, and John A. Patterson, Marion, Ind.; a brother, Daryl Patterson, in California; a sister, Mrs. Wm. Brown, Janesville; and 28 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Lake Dalton Methodist church with the Rev. Richard Alger in charge. Burial was in the Gillingham cemetery, Richland county.
Fedderly funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
