Mrs. Eva Patterson, 67, Lake Delton, died Friday, June 28, at a Sauk county hsopital after a long illness.
Mrs. Patterson was born in this county, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alta J. Roudebush of the Gillingham area. She completed high school and the county normal school and was a successful county teacher until her marriage and taking up residence in Lake Delton.
She was a member of the Lake Delton Methodist church, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Lake Delton Women's Organization.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jack Greenwood, Wisconsin Dells; three sons, Richard, Sauk City, Charles, Stevens Point, John of Marion, Ind.; two sisters Mrs. Foster Bender, Viola, Mrs. Francis Weitzel, Mineral Point; two brothers, John of Madison, and Fay, Lake Delton, and 19 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday at the church in Lake Delton, and burial was in the Fancy Creek cemetery near Gillingham later that afternoon.
