Lucille Marie Gober

Lucille Marie Gober, 86, of Mineral Wells, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, in a Fort Worth hospital.

Service is 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at the Church of God with Rev. Jerrel Tomerlin officiating. Interment will be in Indian Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Gober was born Feb. 14, 1921, in Wichita Falls, Texas, the daughter of James Andrew and Gertie Lee Sutterfield Smith. She married William Gober on Nov. 18, 1940, and was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, William David Gober of Mineral Wells; daughters and sons-in-law, Annie Lou and Joe Lipe of Springtown, Texas, and Wanda Jo and Andy Anderson of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Mervin David Lipe, Ricky L. Kimbrell, Joann Roeber, Jeff W. Kimbrell, David Earl Lipe, Kenneth Michael Kimbrell, Krisha Neatherland, Dylan Kimbrell, David Lee Kimbrell and Katrina Kimbrell; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond T. and Jeannie Smith, Tommie and Deloras Smith and Jessie Lee and Margie Smith; sisters, Marybell Griess, Naomi Marx and Doris Ruth Elliott; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters-in-law, Cecil and Sybil Smith, David and Frances Smith, A.J. and Dorothy Smith and Daniel and Sharon Smith; and sister and brother-in-law, Lilly and Vance Bailey.
