Eshrich/Estrick/Eastright/Estright Family Tree Book by Warren Eastright

Clarissa Bell Eastright, born in Cherry Hill, Indiana County, Pennsylvania on November 6, 1870 to A-8, Samuel and Mary Jane Burkhart Eastright. Clara, as her family and friends called her, at the age of 22 found this recipe in a doctor's book, that would clear pimples and blotches. She mixed up this quick silver and nitric acid. The mixture started boiling and changing colors. She called her sister and brother, and as they gathered around her, she pulled the cork. There was an explosion and it knocked Clara unconscious. She had burns over all her upper body and they thought that she might have burned her lungs and wouldn't survive. Well she survived, because she married Charles Herbert Billson on December 12, 1905 in Vandergrift, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Charles was born in Camden, Camden County, New Jersey on October 12, 1870 to George and Jane Billson. Clara and Charles moved to Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania after their marriage, and remained there until their death. Charles was a machinist. Clara died on December 12, 1941, and Charles died on March 26, 1960. Both are buried at Homewood Cemetery in Pittsburg. Charles and Clara had two children. Lillian E. Billson, Ada M. Billson.
