Mary Burkhart Eastright, on the 27th of last month the wife of Mr. Samuel Eastright died at her residence in Indiana county. Her husband and five children are left to mourn their loss. The deceased lady was at one time a resident of Altoona and the news of her death will be read with sorrow by her friends in this city. She lived a Christian life and was prepared to meet her God.

EASTRIGHT— Feb. 27, 1886, Mrs. Mary J. Eastright, of Cherryhill tp, aged 52 years, 4 months and 3 days.

She was a pious, Christian woman, a devoted wife and tender and affectionate mother.
Her sufferings were long and painful, but she bore them with Christian patience
and fortitude. She has joined the glorious throng of saints above.

Dearest wife, thoU haSt left me—
Left me In this world alone.
BUt In heaven I hope to greet thee,
And with the praise thee thrOne.

HUSBAND

Dearest mother, thoU hast left US,
And your loss we deeply feel;
But 'twas God that bereft us—
He can all our sorrow heal.

CHILDREN

A husband, two sons and four daughters
mourn her loss.
