MARTHA C. DAIGLE, 90, of Houston, Texas deid April 29, 2010. Martha was born April 30, 1920 to Reginald and Lelia Curry. Both preceded her in death. She married Emile P. Daigle and together had two children, daughter Sheran Miller of Spring, Texas and son E. Paul Daigle, Jr. of Houston.
As a child her family took her all over Texas as the daughter of a Methodist minister including her high school years in Junction and San Angelo. She studied music at Houston Conservatory of Music and attended U of H.
She was a violinist for the Houston Symphony, piano teacher, caregiver, housewife and mother. She was a life member of Houston Professional Musicians Assn. Her interests included all things musical, her favorite piano and an extensive collection of classical recordings and video performances,and, she like fast cars!
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers and staff who cared for her at Clarewood House for the past four years.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren, Steven T. and Heather Miller, Christopher J. Miller and great-grandson, Andrew T. Miller.
A visitation will be conducted from 6PM to 9PM Thursday, May 6, 2010, at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer, Houston, TX 77077. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 7, 2010, 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow.
