Laural Kaneal Humphrey Ostler much beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away as a result of a heart attack, Saturday, April 17, 2004 while surrounded by her family.

Laural was born April 11, 1939 to Hazel Draper Humphrey and Sidney Bail Humphrey in Provo, Utah. She graduated from Provo High School and attended BYU. Before her marriage, she worked at the Zesto and Skaggs. Laural met her best friend and eternal companion, Floyd LaVell Ostler on a blind date in Provo. They were married in the Manti Temple July 20, 1960 and blessed with eight children to whom she devoted all her time and talents.

Laural had a love for animals and people whom she felt were the underdog in life. She loved the temple and worked at the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. The most important thing in her life was her marriage and family. She always made holidays special. She taught us a strong work ethic, honesty, choosing the right and a love for the Savior. She loved the Gospel, had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ, and served in many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Laural is survived by her cherished husband; and eight loving children, Mark (Debbie) Ostler, Sharon (Keith) Kron, Calvin (Tiffany) Ostler, Jeanine (Tracy) Bingham, Laurie (David) Petersen, Lt. Bryce Ostler (currently serving our country in South Carolina), Steven (Stephanie) Ostler, Job Ostler; 23 grandchildren; and sister, Vesa Smith. Her parents, four brothers and two sisters, Blair Humphrey, Duane Humphrey, Val Humphrey, Amburs Humphrey, Thaola Tucker and Virginia Packard, preceded her in death.

The services were under the direction of Olpin Family Mortuary in Pleasant Grove.

Predigree of Laural Kanel Humphrey Ostler.
