Hazel Mae SUTTON, 84, of Sioux City, died Saturday 7 February 1998, in Sioux City.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Sioux City, with Joel Stevenson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Christy, Smith & Hockenberry Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Sutton was born 17 April 1913, in Anthon, Iowa, the daughter of John Earl & Rosa Belle (BLACKFORD) WATKINS. She attended Moville, Iowa Public School. She moved to Sioux City in 1930. She married Merle SUTTON in 1932, in Sioux City. He died in 1983, in Sioux City. She was employed with Armour & Company.
She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.
Survivors include 2 sisters, Etta BAKER of Sioux City and Alta & her husband, Jim GAINES of Wheatland, Wyoming; a brother, Verle WATKINS of Cape Girardau, Mo.; and a sister-in-law, Stella SUTTON of Puyallup, Wash.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Floyd & Jesse E. WATKINS; & a sister, Pearl Watkins.
