Phoebe Helen Holt was the sister in law of my grandmother Winnifred Montgomery Foulke. Some information for her:
"Phoebe Helen Holt was the daughter of John B. & Mary Isabel "Moore" Holt. She went by her middle name "Helen.
Helen Holt married Sherman Arthur Montgomery on 19 Apr 1931 in St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri. They lived in Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas all their married life. They had three children:
1. Marlene Montgomery
2. Shirley Montgomery
3. Carroll Sherman Montgomery
Sherman's niece, Inez Winnifred Foulke lived with them as their housekeeper in the mid 1930's. Inez was married at their home in 1938.
Helen died at the age of 67 in Topeka.
