Former Provo Woman Passes
Mrs. Gladys Anetta Jakeman Roberts, 43, wife of C.N. Roberts of Salt Lake, formerly of Provo, died Sunday morning in that city.
Mrs. Roberts was born in Manti, June 2, 1886. She resided in Provo for 10 years, moving to Salt Lake a year ago.
Surviving are her husband and the following children: LeRoy, Wells, Fay, Violet and Stephen Sanders and Cleo Roberts. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Ellen Jakeman Sanders of Salt Lake, one sister, Mrs. Coral Black of Salt Lake, and two brothers, Frank and Spencer Jakeman of Salt Lake.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m., in the First ward chapel, where the body may be viewed from 12 to 12:45 o’clock. Interment will be in the Provo city cemetery. Provo, Utah Evening Herald, April 26, 1929
