Our beloved husband, uncle, and friend Joseph LeRoy Sanders, age 89, passed away February 13, 1997, at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born May 31, 1907, in Douglas, Arizona, the son of Joseph LeRoy and Gladys Anette Jakeman Sanders. He married Mary Gunhild Astad on June 15, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Member of the LDS Church. An avid temple worker. Host on Temple Square for many years. He and his wife owned and operated East Millcreek Floral for many years. Also served in the United States Armed Forces.
