Services for Cilton A. Tingle, 67, of Trout, La. will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the Belah United Pentecostal Church with Revs. David Hutchinson and Curtis Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in the Belah Cemetery in Belah, La. under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Hixson Brothers and Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 12 pm until time of service at the church.
Mr.Tingle was born in the Belah community on January 27, 1945 to the union of Charles W. and Agnes Jesse Whatley Tingle and passed from this life on Friday April 27, 2012 at his residence in Trout, La. He worked as a pumper and a switcher in the oilfield.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Jesse Whatley Tingle. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Ruth Daily Tingle, sons, Steven Andrew Tingle and Michael Allan Tingle and wife Kim, all of Belah; daughter, Paula J. Ashworth and husband Ricky of Belah; father, C.W. Tingle; brothers, Horace Tingle and Lester Tingle, both of Belah; sisters, Carolyn DeKeyzer of Alexandria and Jo Ellen Bailey of Belah; grandchildren, Kandi Robertson and husband Jason, Kelli and Marcus Clark, Meagan Ashworth, Heather Ashworth King, Kyle, Justin, Nathan, Waylon and Kaitlyn Tingle, Nathan Walton and Bethany Causey; great-grandchildren, Brook, David, Alexis and Colton Robertson, Austin Lewis and Lily Clark.
Pallbearers will be Larry Humphries, Daryl Wilson, Dennis Bradford, LaVelle Pritchard, Grey Paul and Jessie Parker.
