Mrs. Whitmore was born in Shrewsbury, daughter of the late Charles H. and Emeline Woolley Hurley. She had lived in this section of the county all her life. Her husband, Arthur H. Whitmore, died in Fair Haven, March 3, 1941. She attended the Shrewsbury Presbyterian church.
Mrs. Whitmore is survived by three sons, Arthur H. Whitmore, Jr., of 29 Dogwood la., Fair Haven; Frank C. Whitmore of 77 Branch ave., Red Bank, and Charles H. Whitmore, Oakland Park, Fla.; five grandchildren, and three sisters, Miss Lillian Hurley of Middletown, Mrs. Sadie E. Guillaudeu of Long Branch, and Mrs. Milton E. Lamb of Oceanport.
The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock in the Worden funeral home with Rev. John R. Collins, pastor of the Shrewsbury Presbyterian church, officiating. burial will be in Glenwood cemetery, West Long Branch.
