Mrs. Clark was born at Shrewsbury and was the daughter of the late Charles and Emma Woolley Hurley. She lived at Shrewsbury until about seven and a half years ago, when she and her husband moved to Red Bank.
Surviving, besides her husband, who is active in fraternal circles, are seven sisters, Mrs. Sadie E. Guillaudeu of Belford, Miss Lillian Hurley of Red Bank, Mrs. Susie W. Hugg of Long Branch, Mrs. Bessie Bennett of Oakhurst, Mrs. Emma H. Whitmore of Woodlawn, Maryland; Mrs. Cleora Bennett of Englishtown and Mrs. Esther H. Lamb of Oceanport.
Mrs. Clark was a charter member of the Shrewsbury Presbyterian church and was an active member of the Missionary society of that church.
The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at her late home with Rev. George K. Miksch, pastor of the Shrewbury Presbyterian church, of which she was a charter member, officiating.
The bearers were Floyd Guillaudeu, John H. Hugg, Jr., Charles Long, Milton E. Lamb, Myron Bennett and Anthony Bublin. Burial, in charge of the Worden funeral home, was in the Old First Methodist church cemetery at West Long Branch.
