Gloria Johnson, 72, passed away Friday at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.
She is survived by four sons, Joe Benavidez of San Benito, Juan Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri, Leopoldo Johnson of Mercedes, and Charlie Johnson of Harlingen; five daughters, Angie Gutierrez of La Feria, Mary Guajardo of Harlingen, Mary Lou De La Rosa and Dolores Ybarra both of Mercedes, and Susie Rodriguez of Santa Maria; two sisters, Mary Sue Garcia of Harlingen, and Mary Lou Hodges of Meza, Arizona; also surviving are twenty-two grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mercedes. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria.
