San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Weldon Porter and Mary L. Frausto. Mary Sue is also predeceased by her husband, Rafael C. Garcia in 2007; infant daughter, Mary Sue Morales; and 2 sisters, Madeline Gonzalez and Gloria Johnson. She is survived by her twin sister, Mary Lou Hodges; children, Velma Copeland and husband Kim, Edna Garcia, Diana Maxfield and husband Bill, Alma Cunningham and wife Leigh, and Rafael Garcia, Jr. and wife Nelda; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM with the holy rosary to be prayed at 7:00PM at Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 10:00AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Harlingen with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in La Feria, TX.
