Irna was born January 5, 1918 in Newdale, to William Albert Montague and Mary Brown Montague. She grew up and attended schools in Osgood and Ammon. She was a lifelong resident of the Osgood/Idaho Falls area.
On December 30, 1941she married George Marvin Jones in Idaho Falls and together they raised four children. Marvin passed away on July 30, 1973.
Irna was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She also did clothing alterations for Carrols, LeVines, and ZCMI.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a 2-year mission in Samoa.
Irna enjoyed reading, crocheting, and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, and two brothers.
Graveside services will begin at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 North Ridge Avenue) prior to leaving for the cemetery.
