Amelia Amacker, the infant daughter of John Jacob and Maria (Adami) Amacker died on March 9, 1887, at her home in Colorado Gulch from inflammation of the bowels. She was only 14 days old; the attending physician was Rockman. Her funeral was held from the residence of John A. Kuntz, 311 Eleventh Avenue. (Helena Daily Herald, 3/9/1887) Herrmann & Co. provided the child's gloss white case and outside box for $16.00.
