Lee R. Crabtree, Jr., 78, Independence, Mo., passed away Monday, April 23, 2012. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 27, at Floral Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 27, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Lee was born July 24, 1933, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Lee R. and Marie (Holm) Crabtree, Sr. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Lee retired in 1993 from Fleming Foods after 30 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed bowling and woodworking in his spare time. Lee is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Bev (Guerrant) Crabtree; daughter, Lynn K. Wostarek and husband Thomas E.; granddaughter, Kathleen Smith and husband Mark; great- granddaughter, Natalie Lynn Smith.
