DIES AT 82
Mira Loma, April 3 --
Rufus A. Clason 82 of 5742 Etiwanda Ave., died Friday nigth at a Riverside Hospital. He had been in failing health for a year. Clason was a former custodian at Eastvale School and a former security guard at the old Corona Naval Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3p.m. Tuesday at the Bell-Thomas Mortuary. The Rev.Charles Benson will officiate. Internment will follow at the Sunnyslope Cemetery. Clason was born in Kansas March 25,1878. He came to Mira Loma in 1936 and worked as a rancher. Survivors are: four sons - Harry Clason of El Cajon, Marion of Westminster, Orville of Mira Loma and Horace of Riverside; three daughters - Mrs.Adeline Webb of Hollister, Mrs.Hettie Good of Mira Loma and Mrs. Kitty Webb of Modesto; one sister - Jennie Eishen of Oklahoma City; 26 grandchildren, 38 great great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
