Dorothy Irene Clason was born July 23,1913 and died November 5, 1932 at the age of 19 yrs. 3mos. and 13 days. Dorothy was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Clason of Grenville, New Mexico. She met her death at Springer, N.M., when a two gallon can of coal oil from which she was pouring oil on a fire, exploded, burning her badly. She was rushed to a hospital but lived only six hours. Fire following the explosion completely burned the house. She leaves her father and mother, three sisters and four brothers all of New Mexico, and an uncle J.S. Clason of this city, besides a host of cousins to mourn her departure.
