Earl Gray Creel, 29, formerly of Poston and more recently of McAllen, Tex., where he was a border patrolman with the U. S. Dept. of Interior, died in his sleep Thursday night in McAllen.
He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence E. Creel Sr., of Poston, where he was born and raised. He was a graduate of Johnsonville High School and attended Newberry College. A veteran, he served with the Naval Air COrps for three years. He was a flight engineer.
He was employed at the Savannah River Project for three years and resided in Williston. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Poston.
