The deceased was born in Brown county on August 5, 1875 the daughter of James and Mary Newingham Gaskill. She was united in marriage July 1, 1896 at Versailles, Ill. to Jess B. Bridgeman, who preceded her in death in 1915.
Three children survive, Harvey Earl, of Jacksonville; Mrs. Mary Ann Smith of Kankakee and Mrs. Jessie Cooper of this city; two brothers, Bert and Isaac Gaskill, both of Versailles. One brother and a sister preceded her in death. Eight grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren also survive. The body is at the Williamson Funeral Home where the family will meet friends Friday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
Services will be held Saturday at 2;30 pm at the Versailles Methodist church. The body will be removed from the Williamson Funeral Home early Saturday morning and taken to the Tarrant Funeral Home at Versailles. Burial will be made in the West Cemetery at Versailles.
