Fond du Lac Reporter, Tues. Jan 22, 1991. p. 20. Mrs. Agatha Beyer, 86, of Mt. Calvary, died today, Jan. 22, 1991, at Americana Healthcare Center, following a lingering illness. She was born Feb. 5, 1904, in Johnsburg, a daughter of Joseph and Anna Bell Schumacher. On Nov. 23, 1932, she married Anthony Beyer in Johnsburg. Mrs. Beyer and her husband resided in Mt. Calvary all their married life. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mt. Calvary, the Christian Mothers and the Altar Society. She was an honorary member of the Calvary Homemakers. Survivors include her husband; one son, Vern and his wife Jean of Mt. Calvary; eight grandchildren, Thomas and his wife Sue, Peter and his wife Mary, Joseph, Kathryn, Dr. John, Jane and her husband Joel, Margaret and Michelle; and three sisters, Esther Pickart and Bibiana Blatz and her husband Clem, both of Mt. Calvary, and Louise Schumacher of Fond du Lac. Her parents, two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Huss Funeral Home, St. Cloud, and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mt. Calvary. The Rev. David Matenaer will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Thursday after 4 p.m. at the funeral home, where a parish vigil will be held at 8 p.m.
