KOHLER PLANT WORKED DIES AT AGE OF 57

CHARLES SCHUMACHER JOHNSBURG NATIVE; SHEBOYGAN RITES
Charles W. Schumacher, 57, of 2522 lake Shore Drive, Sheboygan, died unexpectedly at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, at 11 a.m. Wednesday after a heart attack sustained while at work at the Kohler Co. Plant.
He was born in Johnsburg on Nov. 10, 1908, the son of Anna and Joseph Bell Schumacher. He married Irene Olson of Harrison on April 14, 1941, and had been employed by the Kohler Co. for 31 years.
Mr. Schumacher is survived by his widow, and seven sisters, Miss Louise Schumacher, city, Mrs. Henry Benzschowel, Sheboygan, Mrs. William Freund, Johnsburg ,Mrs. Leo Gilgenbach, Peebles, and Mrs. Anthony Beyer, Mrs. Anthony Pickart and Mrs. Clem Blatz, all of Mount Calvary. His parents and a brother preceded him in death.
The body will be in state after 2 p.m. Sunday at Ramm’s Funeral Home, Sheboygan, until services at 9P:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home and at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, Sheboygan. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
