She was born February 10, 1904 in Crookston. She moved to Saum at age 2 where she attended school. In 1925, she moved to the Falls.
On August 25, 1926, she married Paul Buchholz, who preceded her in death in 1943.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. William (Pauline) Hardwig of International Falls; step-daughters Mrs. Emil (Myrtle) Sorkness of Twin Valley and Mrs. Jack (Alice) Johnson of Gary; one step-son, Bernhard Buchholz of the Falls; one sister, Hazel Reiners, of the Falls; one brother, Archie Knutson, of Ray; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Antone and Gertrude (Marum) Knutson.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Green-Larsen Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Daniel McGorden officiating. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
