Hazel Susan Reiners, 81, a patient at the Good Samaritan Care Center, died Monday evening, May 24, 1993, at the Falls Memorial Hospital. She formerly resided at 311 Eighth St.
She was born on March 26, 1912 at Saum, Minnesota and moved to the Falls in 1945 from Crookston, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter in 1975. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of the Falls.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Krause of Fort Frances, Ontario and Earnest Krause of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one daughter, Twyla Lee of Minneapolis; one brother, Archie Knutson of Ray and five grandchildren.
"In accordance with the wishes of Hazel Reiners, there will be no funeral service. Disposition was by cremation with the Cudmore Funeral Home in charge of arrangements."
