Nancy Sue (Banta) Buroker, 78, of Janesville, passed away on Sunday February 26, 2012.

She was born on June 17, 1933 in Soldiers Grove to Sherman and Esther (Hestetune) Banta. She married Arlis Buroker March 21, 1953. After marriage, they lived in Salina, Kansas for a few years. Then they moved to Janesville. She enjoyed golf and tennis. Her biggest love besides her grandkids was visiting the casino.

She is survived by her husband, Arlis; 2 sons; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers: Robert Banta (killed in World War II) and Frederick Banta; and 6 sisters: Gretchen Olson, Elaine Bourland, Patricia Schricker, Ruth Adams, Marjorie Nelson, and Barbara Bilikas.

Funeral services will be held on Friday March 2, at 1 P.M. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Soldiers Grove. Pastor Kent Johnson will officiate and burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Soldiers Grove. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 11 A.M. until time of services.
