Mrs. Bessie Harrington LaVerde, widow of Thomas LaVerde, passed away early Tuesday morning at the Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, following a short illness.
Mrs. LaVerde who had resided in Rochester for the past three years, was born at Grove, Allegany county, N. Y., August 30, 1899.

DANSVILLE NEWS.
Mrs. Bessie Harrington Laverde, 20, widow of Thomas Laverde died after a short illness at the Rochester-Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Laverde has been living in Rochester for the past three years. She leaves two small children; her mother, Mrs. Clara Harrington, and three brothers, Charles, Clark and Carlton of Dansville.
[NOTATION: Correct family surname spelling is LoVerde, not Laverde.]

NOTATION: Both children of Thomas & Bessie were living out of the area when Bessie's mother, Clara Harrington passed away on the 6th of June 1960 in Dansville, Livingston County, New York. Rosemary was in Buffalo, New York and Robert was living in California.
