A member of St. Peter Catholic Church, he was married April 29, 1920, to the former Pearl Gilboe in Manawa, Wis. He was a cement finisher for many years before retirement.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Marx Jr., and Mrs. Irene Bauernfeind, both of Oshkosh, and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at Fiss and Bills Funeral Home at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday and at St. Peter Church at 9 a.m., with Father F. M. McKeough officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Park. Friends may call at Fiss and Bills from 3 p.m. Tuesday until time of services. Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
