Earl E. Crump, 34, died Sunday afternoon at his home, 5 miles north east of Haynesville, La., following a heart attack. Mr. Crump had been ill for several weeks, but it was thought that he was improving when the death occurred. Mr. Crump was born and reared in this community, and was employed at the time of his death by the Magnolia Pipe Line Company at the pumping plant, just north of Haynesville. He was a splendid young man and his passing will be greatly missed in the community. The Crump family is one of the best known in Claiborne parish, and their many friends will regret to learn of the untimely passing of this young man. Surviving are the widow, Audie Faye Kirkpatrick, one daughter, Marjorie, one son, Bobby Bender Crump, five brothers, Erbie, Ernest, Eugene, Eldon and Erman, one sister Mrs. T H. Arnold. He was the son of George Charles and Nora A. Green Crump.
