Jack Rousselle, 49, of Seward, died Saturday, Aug. 2. He was born in Seward on Nov. 24, 1930, to Harvey "Doc" Rousselle and Alma Graff Rousselle. He was a Korean War veteran and a member of the American Legion and the Seward Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years. He married Dessalee Lindner on Nov. 6, 1950. He was a former grocer.
Survivors include his wife, Dessalee; two sons, Tim of Lincoln and Tom of Seward; his mother, Alma Rousselle, of Seward; one sister, Wilma Lee (Mrs. Jack) Carmichael, Lincoln.
Services were held Monday, Aug. 4, at St. John Lutheran Church, Seward, the Rev. Jonathan Stein officiating. Burial was in the Seward Cemetery with military graveside services. Pallbearers were Don Bloom, Keith Brunell, Leroy Dittmar, Dean Brockhoff, Robert Rine and Don Rolfsmeier. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Seward Volunteer Fire Department.
