Mollie's father, Jacob Stevens (Stephens), the son of Andrew and Ruth Ann (Bishop) Stephens, was born Aug. 6, 1844 in Cass County, Indiana, and died Jan. 17, 1910 in Auburn, NE.

He married Mary Ann (Anna) Penney on Sept. 6, 1877 in Atchison County, MO. Anna, the daughter of Daniel and Mary (O'Brian) Penney, was born June 4, 1858 in Cass County, Indiana and died May 6, 1943 in Auburn, NE. Anna's second husband was James Asher. The Stevens' children were Lee, Dee, Mollie (Mrs. George Druery), Ida (Mrs. Arthur White)___ Mrs. Ivan Smith and May (Mrs. Otto Williams).

Andrew J. Stephens (Stevens), Mollie's grandfather, was born about 1810 in Ohio and died between 1864 and 1868. Andrew married Ruth Bishop. Ruth was born between 1818 and 1828 and died between 1884 and 1888 probably in Brownville, Nebraska. Her second marriage was to Sam Craig. The Stephen's children were: Sarah (Mrs. Richard Carr), Tracy, Amos, Mary, Jacob, Mark, Henry, Charlotte (Mrs. John Handley) and Ellen (Mrs. James Russell----Mrs. Edward Buttom). The Stephens came to Nebraska about 1860.

Wayne Coulters wife, was Lois Irene Druery, they married June 10, 1937, she was the daughter of Pete and Mollie (Stevens) Druery. b. Sept. 21, 1921 about 1/2 mile west of Fairview School. she attended Auburn H.S. They farmed east of Auburn for 23 years. Wayne later became the dealer for Kawasaki Motorcylcles in a business east of Auburn. Members of the Auburn Christian Church.
