Ruth Ann Bishop Stephens is shown in census records as being born circa 1811 in Indiana. She and her husband, Andrew J Stephens, are shown in records as the parents of Sarah, Tressie, Amos, Jacob, Mary, Mark, Henry, Eleanor "Ellen" and Charlotte "Lottie".
per land records, Ruthie passed away between the years of 1884 when she bought one lot of land and 1888, when her second husband, Samuel Craig, sold that same lot of land is listed as a widower.

Ruth's actual burial location has not been validated. But it assumed that she was buried in the Walnut Grove Cemetery because she lived there about the time of her death and that she was probably buried next to her first husband Andrew Jackson Stephens who was buried at the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
