Daniel E. Gerber, 79, Rt.1, Kennewick, died today in a Kennewick hospital after a long illness. He was born February 17, 1880, in Missouri. Gerber has been in the area since 1936. He was a retired farmer. Gerber was a member of the Finley Grange. Survivors are his wife, Gertrude, and sons, Donald and Steven, both of Kennewick, Dan of Seattle, Leo of Portland and Ernest of Tacoma, daughters, Mrs. Howard Munson of Everett, Mrs. Eugene W. Hardy, of Pasco and Mrs. Louis Chavez, of Kennewick; sisters, Mrs. Ella Pine of California, and Mrs. Minnie Raber of Elkhart, Indiana; 15 grandchildren and one great grandson. Services are pending at Mueller's Funeral Home.
