JOHN W. GERBER

Funeral services for John W. Gerber will be held at 2 P. M. Friday in the Portland Crematorium. Arrangements will be under the direction of the Peake Funeral home of Milwaukie.

Mr. Gerber died at St. Vincent's hospital late Tuesday following a heart attack. He was born in Illinois, later moved to Indiana where he resided until 1899 when he came to Oregon City. In 1910 he moved to Salem where he remained for ten years. At the time of his death, Mr. Gerber was living with his son, Eugene F., at Milwaukie.

In addition to his son, Eugene, he is survived by a son and daughter, Joseph R. Gerber and Mrs. Rosina Snyder of Portland; two other sons, Thomas W. Gerber, New York; Albion T. Gerber, Lake Grove; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
