Raber, Minnie A.(Gerber), was born in Hickory County, Missouri, January 23, 1882; died at Winfield, Iowa, where she had gone to visit a daughter, September 7, 1962; aged 80 years, 7 months, 15 days. She suffered a hip fracture three weeks earlier and died of complications. In October 1904, she was married to Daniel J. Raber.

Surviving are 4 children, (John C., Edward, Velma-Mrs. Ray Wyse, and Annabelle-Mrs. R.B. Widmer), 16 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the College Mennonite Church, Goshen, Indiana.

Funeral services were held at Winfield, Iowa, September 8th, and at Goshen, Indiana, September 10th. John H. Mosemann and E.J. Bohn officiated.
