Sister Angela Berens, 83, died Monday, Feb. 13, 1995, at Nazareth Heights.
She was born on March 15, 1911, in Wlaker, Kans., a daughter of William H. and Amelia von Felt Berens.
She professed her religious vows on Aug. 15, 1930, in Fond du Lac, and taught along with pastorial ministry in Wisconsin, Kansas, Indiana and New York.
Survivors include one sister, Caroline (Berens) Schmidt of Salina, Kans.; five brothers, Herman, Ralph and Alvin all of Hays, Kans., Cyril "Pete:" of Independence,Kans., and Eugene of Pueblo, Colo.; and members of the Congregation of St. Agnes with whom she ministered.
Preceding her death were her parents; two brothers, Ignatius and William; and two sisters, Helen and Agnes Berens.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Chapel, Nazareth Heights. The Rev. Edward Sippel will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Springs Cemetery.
Visitation is at the chapel on Wednesday after 3 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
