Funeral services for Troy Freund, 75, of Needville will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday from the First United Methodist Church in Needville, with the Rev. Bob Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Needville Public Cemetery.
Mr. Freund died Monday at his home in Needville. He was a farmer and rancher and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Needville.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Troy Freund of Needville who is a Herald Coaster news correspondent; daughter, Mrs. Barbara Sanders of Houston; three sons, Troy Allen Freund of Lake Charles, La., Gene Freund of Houston, and Raymond Freund of Rosenberg; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Bertie Ivey of Oklahoma and Mrs. Nettie Brumbelow of Alvin; brother, Robert Freund of Bridge City.
